Our soon-to-be-built private preschool in Poplar, Wisconsin on County Rd D will be dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for your child to grow and thrive.

This has been quite the journey! We had no idea how many hoops we'd have to jump through to get this idea off the ground. From buying an 11 acre farm lot, to getting permission from the town and now the state, to filing every permit under the sun, it's been a long and drawn out process. We are determined and excited as we have planned (if everything goes right) to open our school in September of 2026. To insure a spot for your child, fill out our Interest Application. This is a commitment free way to see if our program is right for you and your child. Spots for each age range (3-5) are limited! Your interest application will be a placeholder for your child until we are given the green light to accept and enroll students... hopefully soon!

Full-Time Early Childhood Education

MLEP will offer licensed Early Childhood Education everyday, all day. As one of the only programs to provide full-time preschool we focus on building a strong foundation for lifelong learning Monday-Friday from 7:30-4:30.

Age Appropriate Learning and Social/Emotional Development

MLEP is for children ages 3-5 years of age. As a multi-age classroom, each learning level will be met with appropriate and relevant educational and social/emotional education.  We will focus on fostering positive relationships and essential social skills for life. A classroom based on communication and collaboration.

Play Based & Nature Inspired Creative Learning

Your child will explore the creative arts - through expressive and imaginative manipulatives such as things found in nature, music, art, and movement. Your child will develop fine and gross motor skills with each.

What is the age range for enrollment?

We accept children who will be ages 3-5 years old by September 1st 2026.

Do you provide meals for the students?

We require parents to send a balanced home lunch. However, we do offer a free nutritious breakfast each morning as well as a snack and drink each afternoon.

Is there a parent involvement program?

We will offer various opportunities for parents to be involved in their child's learning journey throughout the year with volunteer postings. We will also host a mid-year Open House Family Gala where your child will be celebrated and recognized.

What does tuition cost?

Our tution depends on Full-Time or Part-Time enrollment. Please fill out our Interest Application to be sent our full Tution and Pricing Guide to see if Mohr's Little Explorers is the right fit for your family.

Does my child have to be potty trained?

We do require your child to be fully potty trained by the time they start at MLEP. Accidents happen! But we do need all children to be potty trained so that staff can focus on teaching instead of toileting.
